Maira Stefou was born and lives in Athens, Greece. She studied at first, Interior and Graphic Design and afterwards painting, etching, sculpture, scenography and multimedia at the Fine Arts University of Athens.
She has worked as an interior designer and as a creative art director for advertising and publishing firms. Also as a freelancer in communication and web design, books and magazines layout, illustration (mainly for children’s picture books, magazines, t-shirts prints, gift cards) and stage design.
She has showed her art work in several solo and group exhibitions.
